OMI’s first full-body mat paved the way for their entire product line – lightweight, foldable, and focused purely on PEMF therapy. This OMI PEMF Mat review examines their foundational model that established many features we now see in their newer releases.
Five pounds, eight cores, frequencies up to 99 Hz, and that signature foldable design that fits in a suitcase. Plus you still get the free $180 medallion that comes with all their mats. It’s got the DNA of what makes OMI special.
But with newer, more advanced options available, the question becomes whether this original still makes sense for today’s buyers.
The OMI PEMF Full Body mat is a single therapy mat. It only delivers PEMF therapy through its 8 cores. At 2.2 Gauss, the intensity is average, but it can reach a frequency of 99 Hz which is pretty damn good.
Functions
OMI Controller
The controller has 3 preset programs. The first two aren’t very useful, but the manual one is gold, as it allows you to set your desired frequency between 1 and 99 Hz.
#
Type
Description
P1
Default

P2

Frequency continually and randomly changes between 1 and 99 Hz
If you buy theOMI PEMF full body mat you will get an OMI PEMF Medallion for free! That’s really great. On the other hand, the carry bag isn’t included, and purchasing it will set you back $160. You do get a bag, but it’s only good for storage and not for transportation.
Free Gift: OMI PEMF Medallion
This is a great gift! This little thing alone is sold for $180. It’s an EMF protection device that shields you from harmful electromagnetic fields (like your phone’s or TV’s). It’s also great for meditation.
Storage Folder
Not designed to carry the mat around, as it doesn’t have handles. But since the OMI mat is foldable (see pic below), it’s good for storage, helping you protect your mat from dust and scratches when stored in the closet or in another travel bag.
Warranty
OMI backs their PEMF mat with a 30-day money-back guarantee and with a 3-year warranty. While it still can’t match HealthyLine’s, it’s definitely above average.
The OMI PEMF Full Body Mat is the oldest OMI model, and honestly, it begins to feel a little old. It has a nice PEMF frequency range, but the functions are very basic. The bag is a paid addon, but the free medallion is nice to have. Overall, the price seems a bit too high for what the mat can offer, especially when compared to the competition. The warranty is pretty good, and it’s second only to HealthyLine’s.
