The Platinum is really heavy on your wallet. It’s a luxury mat that has some unique perks, but falls quite short when it comes to its primary use: PEMF therapy. The TAJ mats are HealthyLine’s best sellers — and for good reason. While the PEMF tech is pretty basic and there are no preset programs, the affordable price more than makes up for it. Personally, I don’t think the Pro Plus model is worth the extra cost — it’s more expensive than the JET but offers less in terms of features. That said, the TAJ 7224 and 6024 models are fantastic value for the price, and they look great! And of course, you still get HealthyLine’s top-tier accessories and unbeatable warranty.

Multicolor Photon Light Therapy (37 LEDs). Unlike FIR therapy, photon light therapy uses visible light, does not produce heat, and penetrates the tissues to stimulate cellular energy.
The Hooga Chakra mats produce a multicolor photon light therapy at different wavelengths, to generate several benefits:

The Hooga PEMF Chakra mat comes with a 1-year warranty. Not great, especially when compared to what HealthyLine offers. However, the 60-day return policy prevents the Hooga from getting a 1-star rating.

The Hooga PEMF Chakra Mat is seriously impressive. If it came with a longer warranty and a few more accessories (you only get a carry bag), it could easily rank as the best PEMF mat out there. The PEMF tech is definitely above average, and the added chakra alignment gives it an extra edge on the therapy front. It’s packed with preset programs, and the price is a steal considering everything you get.

Final Verdict: Best Under $600

The TAO is an affordable mat, with basic PEMF technology, no preset programs, but a pretty high value for money. There is no red light therapy, but the set of accessories and the warranty are are best in the industry, like all HealthyLine’s mats. If you don’t care for red light therapy (as that’s the main difference) you can get this mat instead of the TAJ and save a few bucks. It’s the only mat you can buy for less than $600, but you have to settle for the 6024 model to achieve that.

Sedona doesn’t seem to offer any scientific proof to support this claim. I wasn’t aware that my DNA could ‘communicate’ with a device, or that it even needed help to be activated! To be honest, I’m not fully convinced, so I’ll let you make your own judgment on this.

The Sedona mats come with a high-quality touchscreen controller that lets you personalize your PEMF therapy treatment. It has 36 preset programs (the Elite only has 16) divided into two sections: wellness and longevity. All the mats except for the PRO model also offer a custom program section, where you can save 12 different programs with any frequency, intensity, or waveform that you would like.

Honestly, I’m a bit disappointed that the Pro model doesn’t come with custom programs. I get it, it’s the base model, but it’s still pretty pricey. And I’m not sure why the Elite model, which is supposed to be the top of the line, only has 16 preset programs instead of 32. Because of that, I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

I really love the applicator, but the Sedona mats don’t come with any extra accessories. No carry bag, no cover to protect it. I’d be fine with that if it weren’t for the fact that this is a premium mat with a premium price tag.

Pillow/Pad Applicator

You can use the applicator on its own or with the mat. But the best part? You can use both at the same time, and even set them to different frequencies and intensities for a more personalized experience.

Warranty

Sedona offers a 2-year warranty on their mats, which can be extended to a lifetime for $375. Thanks for this option, Sedona, but with the price you asked for this mat, you could have just given the lifetime warranty straight away.

However, there’s no money-back guarantee, and returns aren’t accepted because the device is classified as a health product. While I get the hygiene concern, most other brands do accept returns on their mats.

I love the pillow-pad applicator, and using it at the same time as the mat is a smart touch. Still, for what you pay, not even including a carry bag feels like a letdown. Their functions, controller, and preset programs are top-notch, but claiming the Elite model can “communicate” with your DNA sounds a bit over the top. The warranty is good, and can also be extended, but no money-back guarantee or returns is a bit disappointing.
