You’ve probably seen HigherDose everywhere. Instagram ads, celebrity endorsements, and that sleek wellness brand look that screams “premium lifestyle product.” The Higherdose PEMF Pro Mat certainly looks the part, with its minimalist design and a fancy carrying bag.
But strip away the marketing polish and you’re left with some pretty basic specs: 0.8 milliagauss intensity, limited frequency range, and a price tag that raised my eyebrows. So does this mat live up to the HigherDose reputation, or is it all style over substance?

The frequency tells you how many times the magnetic field cycles in one second, and it’s counted in hertz (Hz). The PEMF Pro Mat covers 3-23 Hz. That’s a small range and basic technology, but it’s enough for most treatments and conditions.

The intensity is how strong the magnetic field coming out of the mat is, and it’s measured in Gauss. The PEMF Pro Mat run at a very low intensity, so this is a mat for general wellness more than for treatment.

The HigherDose Mat comes with an external controller. You use it to set the frequency, the intensity, the temperature, and how long the session lasts.

The Higherdose PEMF Pro Mat has 4 built-in programs, and you select them on the included controller. Each level, from 1 to 4, has its own PEMF frequency. They are meant to mirror the healing frequencies found in nature.

My FInal verdict
The Higherdose PEMF Pro Mat is the first result on Google when you search for a PEMF mat, which is impressive. It looks great, but the mat itself is average. The PEMF tech is below par, there’s no red light therapy, and while you get a nice bag, that’s about it.
Features are basic, the warranty is short, and the price seems high for what you actually get. It’s double the cost of similar or better mats.
What you do get is 120 days to try it and send it back if it’s not for you. That takes a lot of the risk out of buying it. They often run sitewide discounts too, and some of their bundles get you the mat and a good set of accessories at a lower cost. And that’s a nice deal.
