OmniPEMF Company History

OmniPEMF started in Ljubljana in 2016, when Marko Kadunc built the first PEMF headband. It took until the end of 2019 to reach anybody. The company put NeoRhythm on Indiegogo with a target of $25,000 and walked away with $1.7 million from more than 7,000 backers across 110 countries, which is still the foundation the whole company sits on.

Since 2019 the devices have been developed alongside Dr. Igor Jerman, who runs the BION Institute of Bioelectromagnetics in Slovenia. The range grew from that one headband to a pad, a tube, and the NeoSurround system that fills a room instead of touching you. The same team also runs PetsPEMF, the same technology in a pad for animals. All of it still comes out of the same office in Ljubljana.

The 60 days is generous and they will extend it if you ask. The catch is the parcel: it goes back to the EU at your cost, and buyers report paying between $65 and $100 to send one. On a device costing a few hundred that is a real bite out of the refund, and it is the single thing people complain about most.

Two years is standard for the category and they handle it themselves rather than pushing you to a retailer. Reviews split on how well it runs: some describe a replacement arriving without argument, others describe a verified fault and no device.

Every Device

An HSA or FSA holds money your employer set aside before tax was taken out of it. Spend it on something the account covers and you keep the difference. OmniPEMF says all of its devices qualify and will send you the documentation to claim it.

No. NeoSurround, the NeoSurround Mat and the NeoRhythm Tube are registered with the US FDA as Class I medical devices, and they are certified to IEC 60601-1 and 60601-1-2, which are the electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility standards.

Registration is a filing, not a review. It means the device is on the FDA’s list and the company is operating inside a documented framework. It does not mean the FDA tested anything, and it is a long way from approval.

Yes. The trading entity is MDCN Tech d.o.o., registered in Slovenia at Letališka cesta 33 in Ljubljana, with a US address in New York. NeoRhythm is a registered US trademark, and the newer devices are FDA registered and certified to the IEC 60601 medical electrical standards.

The products also came out of two double blind placebo controlled studies, run with Dr. Igor Jerman of the BION Institute of Bioelectromagnetics, and the NeoRhythm work was published in Bioelectromagnetics. That is more science than most of this category brings.

Marko Kadunc, who built the first NeoRhythm in 2016 and is still the CEO. The company is privately held with no parent above it and no outside investor on record.

One thing worth knowing: the company trades under three names depending on which page you land on. MDCN Tech d.o.o. on the legal pages, MDCN Tech Ltd. on the product pages, and MDCN Technologies, Inc. in the press releases. Same company, same man.

One thing above all others, and it is the returns. The 60 day guarantee is real, but the parcel goes back to the EU at your expense, and buyers describe paying $65 to $100 to send it. Several say they would not have bought had they known.

After that: refunds that take weeks of chasing, warranty replacements agreed and then not sent, and the app losing its Bluetooth connection. On the other side of the ledger, plenty of long term owners describe the opposite, a fault fixed quickly and a replacement arriving without argument. The Trustpilot split says it best, 70% at five stars and 24% at one, with nobody in the middle.
