Hooga Company History
Hooga started with a purchase that annoyed somebody. Dave Hibler and Tyler Galganski had been running an apparel business together since 2009, and Cord Young joined them as a college intern in 2015 and stayed. In 2018 Cord bought his first red light panel, could not believe what it cost, and the three of them started pulling the technology apart to work out where the money was actually going.
Eight years later all three still own it, there are no investors and no parent company, and they are still the ones answering emails and unloading trucks in New Berlin, Wisconsin. The panels are designed there and built overseas by the same contract manufacturer they started with, which they say plainly rather than putting a flag on the box.

The PEMF mat sits in the 3 year tier, the same as the panels. The 1 year tier is the wearables, and that is where the complaints cluster: the newer belt and wrap controllers. Hooga says so publicly in its own review replies and says it is redesigning them.
HSA / FSA
Via TrueMed
An HSA or FSA holds money your employer set aside before tax. Hooga runs this through TrueMed, which issues the letter of medical necessity your plan needs, normally within a day or two.

Their figure is a net saving of 30 to 40%, and that is not a discount. You pay the full price. The saving is that the money left your pay before tax was taken out of it, so how much you actually keep depends on your bracket.

They invite customers to review, and they have replied to 100% of the negative ones, though Trustpilot notes the replies typically take over a month. The recurring complaint is the newer belt and wrap controllers, which Hooga acknowledges in its own replies and says it is redesigning.

There is a Google listing for the New Berlin address with hours and a phone number, but nobody has ever reviewed it. It is an office and warehouse, not a shop.
