The Rainbow Chakra 4th Edition mat has advanced PEMF technology. It reaches 12 Gauss of intensity and has a broader frequency range, going as low as 0.25 Hz. The 3rd Edition Rainbow Chakra mat has the basic HealthyLine PEMF tech: 2 Gauss and 1-30 Hz frequency range.
Other Therapies
Far-Infrared Rays Therapy (FIR). This is a natural, non-invasive way to feel better—using far-infrared light (5–14 μm), which you can’t see but definitely feel. It gently heats the gemstones and the mat, reaching up to 160°F (70°C). That heat then works its way deep into your body. Depending on how warm you go, you might get different types of benefits:
- up to 105ºF (40ºC) – Good for prolonged and overnight use. Promotes better sleep and the relaxation of both mind and body.

Multicolor Photon Light Therapy (117-114 LEDs). Unlike FIR therapy, photon light therapy uses visible light, does not produce heat, and penetrates the tissues to stimulate cellular energy.
Instead of the regular LEDs that the other HealthyLine mats have, which emit red lights only, the Rainbow Chakra has 7 different LED colors that correspond to the 7 Chakras and provide a multicolor photon light therapy that benefits from the entire color spectrum and uses a wider range of wavelengths.
Negative Ion Therapy (up to 700/cc). Warm up the gemstones and they’ll start emitting negative ions, which may boost detox and purify the space around you. I’ve noticed the Rainbow Chakra emits a lower amount of negative ions compared to the other HealthyLine mats that can reach up to 3000/cc.
