Grooni Company History

Grooni started in June 2020, out of the pandemic. Rodrigo Gaete Cerda had been running a production company and had burned himself out doing it. What pulled him back was a habit he had always had and never thought much about, which was taking his shoes off. He built the company around that, first selling grounding sheets and mats, one product line and one idea.

The PEMF mats came later, and they are what the brand is mostly known for now. In January 2026 the name changed from Grooni Earthing to Grooni Wellness, which is why you will still find both names.
