Celler8 Specs and Features

Reading the Spec Sheet

1-100HzPEMF Frequency Range

Frequency tells you how many times per second the magnetic field pulses, and it’s measured in hertz (Hz). The Celler8 goes from 1 to 100 Hz. That’s a very wide range, the kind you get with great tech, and it covers every treatment and condition you might have in mind.

100GaussPEMF Intensity

When you see intensity on a spec sheet, it means the strength of the magnetic field the device puts out, measured in Gauss. On the Celler8 it goes up to 100 Gauss. That’s high, closer to what a clinic would use, and at that level you’ll want a way to turn it down.

1PEMF Coils

Coils are hardware, not a setting: they’re copper wire wound inside the device, and they create the pulsed field when the controller sends current through them.

SquareWaveform

Each pulse has a shape over time, called the waveform, and that shape sets how fast the field goes up and comes back down. The Celler8 uses a square wave, where the field switches on and off sharply.

Celler8 Wearable Functions and Controls

What Settings Does the Celler8 Wearable Have?

Frequency control

FULLY ADJUSTABLE

You can fully adjust the frequency from the wearable control unit, with no restrictions. (40 Hz and above requires the device to be connected to A/C power).

The Celler8 control unit also lets you regulate the intensity. But not fully, you have to select one of the 8 levels (2, 4, 10, 20, 40, 60, 80, 100%).

Special Functions

POLARITY SWITCH

You have a very uncommon function here. You can reverse the polarity of the magnetic field. You can choose north, south, or alternate between the two.

Celler8 Wearable Accessories

Celler8 compact carry bag for storing the PEMF device

Mini Bag

This small bag is made for the Celler8, and it makes storing and carrying the device easy. You can toss it in your gym bag or take it along when you pack light. It also protects the unit from dust, bumps and everyday wear.

Celler8 adjustable elastic strap for targeted PEMF placement

Elasticated Strap

Normally you’d pay $45 for this 100cm elastic strap, but it’s included with your purchase. It holds the unit securely on any part of your body, so you can get your therapy right where you need it.

Celler8 Wearable Warranty and Returns

Every Celler8 comes with a 3-year warranty and a 30-day money-back guarantee. You have a full month to try it out and see what it does for you, pretty much risk-free.

Warranty

3 Years

The control unit is covered for 3 years, but the mat just for 2. They don’t publish many more details.

30 Days

A normal return is free, but you pay a 10% fee if you lose the original box or the carry bag.

Is the Celler8 Wearable Worth it?

3.4out of 5

My FInal verdict

The Celler8 stands out among wearable PEMF devices because of its technology. You can stick to the 4 preset programs, or take full control in manual mode.
Most of you will probably want the wearable and mat combo to get the full benefits. But it works really well on its own too. It’s small, it fits in its own bag, and the battery lasts a long time. You can take it pretty much anywhere.
It’s not cheap, but I think it’s very good value for what you get. If you have HSA or FSA funds, you can use them here, which takes some of the sting out of the price.
Good features, useful extras and a 3-year warranty. It’s a device I definitely recommend, and I think you’ll like it too.

Frequently Asked Questions

What sets the Celler8 apart from other PEMF wearables is its technology, but it’s also not cheap. It goes up to 100 Gauss, with a frequency range from 1 to 100 Hz. It also has 4 preset programs plus a manual mode.
When you compare wearables, start with those numbers, then look at the battery and at how the device stays on your body. Both matter more than you’d think, since the whole point of a wearable is using it on the move. The Celler8 has a rechargeable battery and comes with a 100cm elastic strap.
In my ranking of the best PEMF wearables, I compare each one on price, warranty, accessories, features, therapies and technology.

Yes, I think so. Celler8 is a recognized wellness brand with a good reputation, and a few things back that up. They publish all the specs that matter, like intensity, frequency, number of coils and waveform, and not every PEMF brand does that.
You also get a 3-year warranty and a 30-day money-back guarantee, so you’re not stuck with the device if it doesn’t work for you. With any brand, though, read the warranty and return terms before you buy, because the details are where they differ.
If you want to know more, my full Celler8 review page covers the brand, and you can also go straight to their official website.

For some conditions they do, but not for everything they’re sold for. The research behind PEMF is real. The best-studied uses are bone healing, where doctors have used it for decades, and some kinds of joint pain, like osteoarthritis.
For a lot of other claims, the studies are small or mixed, or they were done on cells and animals rather than on people. On top of that, online you’ll find plenty of big promises and inflated marketing. So it’s worth checking what the research says about your specific problem before you buy.
My breakdown of PEMF benefits separates what’s backed by research from what’s just hype.

It depends on what you’re using it for, because each condition needs its own frequency settings and session length.
On the Celler8, the 4 preset programs are named after what they’re for: Morning, Evening, Night and Meditation, each with its own frequency range. They’re an easy place to start. If you want something more specific, the manual mode lets you set the frequency and intensity yourself. With any PEMF device, it’s a good idea to start with shorter, gentler sessions and build up from there. And if you’re dealing with a specific health problem, it’s worth asking your doctor first.
To find the right settings for your condition, check my PEMF frequency chart.

Yes, it can help, mainly with pain and stiffness. Arthritis, and osteoarthritis in particular, is one of the conditions where PEMF has the most research behind it. You put the wearable on the joint that bothers you, and the strap keeps it there while you go about your day.
It’s not a one-session fix, though: the studies use repeated sessions over several weeks, so sticking with it is what counts. It also won’t cure arthritis. Think of it as something you add to your treatment, not a replacement.
The research and a weekly protocol are in my article on PEMF for arthritis.

It can ease the symptoms, as long as you put it right where you feel them. Peripheral neuropathy usually shows up in the feet and hands, and that’s where the wearable goes.
It covers one area at a time, so if both feet are affected, you’ll have to switch it from one to the other. Or you can pair it with one of the Celler8 mats. How much it helps varies from person to person. And with diabetic neuropathy, talk to your doctor before you start.
I’ve written a guide to PEMF for neuropathy with the research and a weekly protocol built around those symptoms.
