Welcome to my NeoSurround smart PEMF system review. Every PEMF device I have tested so far had one thing in common. You wear it, you lie on it, or you strap it on somewhere. The field has to reach your body, so the device has to touch it, or at least be very close to it.
The OmniPEMF NeoSurround throws that rule out. As far as I know, this is the first “contactless”, or “ambience”, PEMF device.
You place it somewhere in a room. You sit at your desk and work. You sleep in your bed. The device sits over there and keeps running, and you never think about it again. It turns on when you are in the room, and it shuts down when you leave. Isn’t that cool? I think it is.
And it does more than one job. You run it from an app on your phone, and it comes with 12 ready-made programs. Sleep, deep relaxation, focus, pain control, six kinds of meditation, energy. You pick one and it runs. If you want a more complete setup, there is a full-body mat that you can plug into it. You can buy the NeoSurround alone, or together with the mat.
But I still had a question I couldn’t shake. A mat puts the field right against your body. Wearable devices, like the NeoRhythm, are placed directly on your body too. But a room device is not. So what is left of the field by the time it reaches you, sitting in a chair, six feet away? I had to find out.

1-100HzPEMF Frequency Range
PEMF frequency is how many times the magnetic field pulses every second, counted in hertz (Hz). The NeoSurround goes from 1 to 100 Hz. That’s a very wide range, and the technology behind it is great, so every treatment and condition is covered.
3-128GaussPEMF Intensity
PEMF intensity is the strength of the magnetic field that the device puts out, measured in Gauss. The NeoSurround goes from 3 up to 128 Gauss. The top of that range is high, which is needed to fill the room with PEMF signal.
TrapezoidalWaveform
The waveform is the shape each pulse takes over time, and that shape decides how quickly the field rises and falls. The NeoSurround uses a trapezoidal one, which means a fast rise, a flat top, and a fast fall.

How you control it
PIR Sensor
One of the best things about the OmniPEMF NeoSurround is the PIR sensor. It checks the room for movement. When you walk in, the device wakes up and starts running. When you leave, it stops and goes into standby. To me, this is what makes the NeoSurround contactless PEMF idea actually work. If you have to remember to switch a device on, sooner or later you forget about it. This one runs itself.
What Settings Does the OmniPEMF NeoSurround Have?
OmniPEMF products are known for having the best set of functions you can find on a PEMF device. And the NeoSurround is no different. Actually, it goes even further.
You can fully control the NeoSurround with the OmniPEMF App, which pairs with your device using Bluetooth. In there, you’ll find 12 preset programs that cover pretty much every PEMF treatment. There is also a custom one that you can build yourself. With that, you are free to decide the intensity, frequency, and duration of your treatment.
Another cool thing about the NeoSurround smart PEMF system is the 24H Scheduler. You build a full day of therapy in the app. Up to nine sessions across 24 hours. You pick when each one starts, which program runs, and how long it lasts. The device then runs them in order and switches from one to the next by itself.
For example, you can run Energy and Vitality at 08:00 to get going, and Deep Relaxation at 14:00 for the afternoon dip. Then Sleep at 22:00 to wind down.
Now put this together with the PIR sensor. The scheduler decides what runs and when. The sensor decides whether it runs at all, based on whether you are actually in the room. You set it up once and the device handles your whole day, every day, on its own.

You also get the charger and cables, plus a small test tool that shows the device is really generating a field. The best accessory is the full-body mat. Good coverage, but they don’t say much about it beyond the number itself. The warranty runs two years, but it can run as long as 26 months. Pretty solid, and about what I expect at this price. Check policy.
Returns

You get 60 days to send it back. That’s plenty of time. With PEMF, you don’t feel something the first night and know right away. It takes weeks of steady use before you can tell if it’s doing anything for you, and 60 days gives you room to find out.. Check policy.
If you have funds in a health savings or flexible spending account, you use them to pay and effectively save whatever your tax rate is. For most people it’s somewhere around 30%.

My FInal verdict
Every PEMF device I have owned works. But sometimes they also end up in a drawer. You have to strap it on, lie down on it, or remember to run a session before bed. And sometimes you are tired or busy, and you skip it. But PEMF only pays off if you are consistent.
With the OmniPEMF NeoSurround, that problem is gone. You set it up once and tell it what your day looks like. Energy and Vitality in the morning, Deep Relaxation in the afternoon, Improve Sleep at night. You walk into the room and it starts. You leave and it stops.
And you get the whole day, not twenty minutes squeezed in before bed. The NeoSurround smart PEMF system is the only device I know of that gives you PEMF without asking you to do anything. If you have tried PEMF before and stopped, this is the one that fixes the reason you stopped.
